Year Listing in the UK

Lee Evans has been Year-listing in the UK since 1977 and has achieved annual totals of over 300 species ever since. Although he has recorded in excess of 360 species on some nine occasions, his record stands at 386 species - achieved in 1996. Adrian Webb in Year 2000 recorded at least 378 species, making him by far the highest-listing individual to compare with Lee. In terms of Life Listing, Lee has recorded 577 species in Britain and Ireland and 853 species in the wider Western Palearctic region.

REDWINGS galore along the South Coast

THURSDAY 14 JANUARY

A thaw is now taking place, with temperatures today creeping up to 3 and 4 degrees C. It also rained for much of the morning, washing some snow away, and also became rather foggy in some areas.

I spent today in East Sussex, where the striking feature was the huge numbers of winter thrushes all along the South Coast. REDWINGS were the most abundant where, for example, I recorded 100 in Seaside Park, Eastbourne, and at least 250 on Magdalen Road School Playing Fields in Bexhill-on-Sea. The cleared snow on the latter also supported 18 Fieldfare, a Mistle Thrush and 3 Lapwings.

CHESHAM

At dusk, a female TAWNY OWL was calling from tall firs at Milk Hall at SP 977 000

  1. The first of the pair, the 41.5mm Aquis, is likely to have replica watches uk paypal a serious impact on Oris’ dive watches in the coming years. For those unfamiliar, the Aquis has bast replica watches uk review been produced up to this point in two separate case styles: the 43.5mm original, and the 39.5mm midsize michael kors replica watches offering. Both of these numbers are slightly misleading, as the Aquis’ chunky central case and replica watches uk trusted deaiers integrated bracelet design cause these watches to generally wear significantly smaller fake Rolex than the numbers suggest. While the 41.5mm stainless steel case is all new, the style still follows the trademark fake Breitling Aquis shape, with thick aggressive crown guards and blocky narrow-set integrated lugs. Like the other sizes in the lineup, the 41.5mm model offers a robust 300 meters of water fake Omega resistance, and this initial model is topped with a clean and classic black bezel fake Tag Heuer insert. The dial of the 41.5mm Aquis takes one of Oris’ most attractive current offerings, a deep navy blue sunburst, fake Hublot and adapts it to the new medium size. All other classic Aquis dial elements are present here, from the distinctive
fake IWC rounded and lumed alpha hands to the multifaceted applied indices and 6 o’clock date. Oris offers the new fake Panerai 41.5mm Aquis on both its rubber strap, and its aggressively geometric three link bracelet with signed clasp fake Vacheron Constantin and dive extension.
